A pragmatic and experienced executive coach who listens deeply, asks the tough questions, and helps leaders recognize what they want to change and how to move quickly toward that change. As a coach, Amy works with senior and emerging leaders in a variety of industries, roles and contexts. Amy often works with leaders during times of change, such as: taking over a new team, navigating a career transition or preparing for higher levels of responsibility. Amy has helped her clients create the changes they desire in a variety of situations including: effectively managing the changes to a newly merged team where job role and responsibilities overlap, navigating difficult peer-level relationship tensions due to organizational changes, improving team morale and motivation, managing stress and pressure more effectively, and improving relationships with senior leaders. At the heart of each coaching relationship is the ability for the client to speak openly, honestly within the confines of a confidential relationship. Through these confidential conversations new options are explored, perspective is gained and greater self-awareness and insight is developed.

How pricing works
CoachMarket pre-negotiates the best prices for our career coaches, and will match you with a coach that fits your budget. Coaches will recommend a package to you based on your needs that includes a suggested number of sessions and deliverables.
Typical price ranges
Our coaches typically charge between $150-$350 an hour. The exact rate depends on the type of coaching expertise, years of experience and industry background. Coaching requires a series of sessions to be effective and coaches may offer special rates when creating a package of multiple sessions.
Billing and payments
Coaches will create a pricing package for you during the FREE consultation and you pay CoachMarket online using any major credit card prior to starting work with your coach. You will receive an email with a link to the payment page once you have agreed to a plan with your coach.

Executive coaching: Typically spans 6-12 months. There are five basic steps:

1. Pre- Coaching: What’s going on and can a coach help? This step allows me to talk with the various stakeholders and understand the context. Stakeholders meet me and see if I'm a good fit.

2. Coaching Phase One – Where am I now and where am I going? Set high-level coaching outcomes and start to gather information (often via various forms of assessments).

3. Coaching Phase Two – Make a plan to get there Using the information gathered a plan of action is created. This is highly personal, unique and is documented in a variety of ways.

4. Coaching Phase Three - Work the plan This is where the vast majority of the time is spent. The coaching meetings support the accountability to the plan. As various work situations arise, the coaching relationship provides an excellent resource for reflection and review. Throughout the coaching process, stakeholder meetings occur to ensure all parties stay in communication and aligned about progress.

5. Post-coaching: Wrap-up This allows all stakeholders the opportunity to come together and review the process and progress and review a plan for recommended next steps to maintain momentum. All coaching work is highly tailored to each client and their desired results.

Prior to Amy’s work as a coach and facilitator, Amy spent twenty years as a business leader in organizations of all sizes. Most notably, she spent ten years at the American Express Company in various leadership positions within Marketing, Client Management, Operations, Six Sigma (Process Improvement), and Interactive Development.

Amy holds a Masters of Organizational Psychology from Columbia University. She received her B.S. in Accounting from New Mexico State University. She is certified in the Human Synergistics’ Life Styles Inventory (LSI), Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), and is a certified Sigma Six Black Belt.

A native of New Mexico and Colorado, Amy currently resides in the New York metro area with her husband and their four teenage children. Amy is an avid reader and has founded a vibrant community book club. She also enjoys spending her time practicing yoga and meditation.
