Partnered with 5 senior center managers to engage a combined assessment and one-day leadership development workshop. Participants received 1-1 feedback coaching on their assessments. On the day of the workshop itself, data from the assessments was incorporated into the workshop. In addition, a research-based leadership model was introduced, and this was then explored within the context of the center. The program concluded with directions for all participants to complete a development plan and then meet with their manager to share their plan

RESULTS: The immediate impact of the program was measured through qualitative feedback on the day, as well as an anonymous Post-Workshop Evaluation.  Participant feedback was unanimously positive. Many people commented on how they were uncertain how things would work out with the workshop but were pleasantly surprised.

Case Study II:
Coaching Client A joined a new organization as a Director. His mission, along with the executive team, was to turn around years of micro management and underperformance. Client A was referred for leadership coaching in order to develop his leadership effectiveness and adjust to cross- cultural differences.

SOLUTION:
The company invested in a 6-month leadership coaching engagement utilizing the 4 stage TREE® coaching method for behavior change (Thoughtfulness/Assessment, Reflection, Exploration, Evaluation).
● Thoughtfulness / Assessment: Client A received a comprehensive leadership assessment, including an interview- based 360° assessment. Results identified an emerging leadership style, core strengths and development gaps.
● Reflection: From the assessment findings, Client A created a development plan that focused on critical areas for his development. This plan was shared and approved by key stakeholders.
● Exploration: During the course of the Implementation stage, Client A demonstrated strong motivation for his coaching and was extremely dedicated to executing on his development plan.
● Evaluation: achieved through check-in’s and assignments in between sessions.

RESULTS:
As a result of the six month coaching engagement, Client A described his team as being more cohesive. He reported more robust working relationships with his co-workers, and he felt better equipped as a manager and leader. Other achievements included: setting up meetings with employees to network and engage in cross-functional collaboration; engaging regular feedback meetings with his HR Business Partner and Boss to increase collaboration and deepen working relationships.

Outstanding!

New York City Councilmember

I know that your services are very much needed…When I was at YES Youth Education & Sports, Chaya coached and mentored me with management tools in technology and fiscal management and helped with organizational development as a whole. Grass roots organizations are so important for NYC as the government alone cannot provide the direct services needed…it is important for elected officials to provide funding to Chaya for the outstanding services she provided.

Highly recommended

Rabbi Mendy Kasowitz

I have used your strategies in my work from how to treat co-workers to how to remain focused and everything in between. I would highly recommend your professional coaching to anyone looking to grow their business and grow in their business (and personal life). The fact is, it’s not just the business that gains, it’s the individual and ultimately the business excels.

Above and beyond my expectations

HR Specialist, NAICA NY

I would like to express my sincere appreciation for having the opportunity to be coached by Chaya and discuss some areas that you so professionally identified as needing further exploration and development. I found the sessions to be above and beyond my expectations.

Consumate professional

Senior Director MAP, UJA Federation of NY

I congratulate you on all the progress you’ve made over the years, helping the most under-resourced of our nonprofits to conduct their work more efficiently and effectively. The ripple effect of what you do cannot adequately be measured, but you are undoubtedly, in many ways, touching the lives of thousands of those in need in our community. I always admired your intelligence, consummate professionalism, and the passion and conviction with which you advanced the Non Profit Help Desk. Your tenacity and good business sense were the attributes that created its growth. Without your leadership and coaching, it would not have happened. You are perfectly positioned to leverage your experience and help so many others.
