Be the best at what you do
For over 12 years, I served in roles exclusively focused on enhancing people practices in organizations. I started my career at a healthcare think tank called the Advisory Board Company, where I researched best practices around human capital in healthcare systems. I went onto to run training for the custom research division. I spent three and a half years working as an HR consultant for Towers Perrin, where I supported Partners in developing new HR consulting models and helping consultants in the field to understand and leverage firm research studies for consulting assignments. I went onto General Electric to participate in their HR Leadership Training Program, and had the opportunity to serve as an HR Generalist for GE Energy Financial Services, and also to serve in the capacity as Engagement Leader for GE Commercial Finance.
I completed my masters in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and have a BA in Psychology from Stanford University. I am a certified coach with the International Coaching Federation. Passionate about fostering collaborative communication skills in others, I serve on the Board of the New York Peace Institute, where I am also a mediator in training.
Reviews
Exceptionally skilled
Regional Manager of Mental Health Services
Jennifer Bezoza took my readiness to grow in my career and helped me to articulate a vision, clarify it, and actualize it within nine months. Jen is exceptionally skilled at listening, reflecting, and utilizing the information she gets to make new suggestions, or to broaden the frame in exciting ways. Her input and her "feel" for me as a person and as a professional were spot on, and I felt I had a true partner on an occasionally scary and overwhelming journey. Nine months later I have developed a part-time private practice serving the clients I am most qualified and best suited to work with, and have accepted a leadership position for a dynamic charter school organization that really fits me and capitalizes on my strengths. I cannot recommend Jen enough, and I look forward to continuing our work in my new venture where I will be drawing on her support to develop my leadership skills and my capacity for staff training and education.
Excellent coach
highly. Principal, Executive Search Firm
Jennifer proved to be an excellent coach. Specifically, Jen helped me create and meet objectives to take my business to the next level. In our meetings, Jen always struck a perfect balance between being flexible and open to taking our conversations in different directions, but also being hyper-focused on results. One of her best qualities was distilling what was important from our conversations and moving the ball forward. She also routinely offered up concepts and ideas that were creative and innovative, helping me see things in ways I hadn't thought of before. In short, she was the consummate professional and it made me feel incredibly valued and satisfied as a client. I could not recommend Jennifer more.
