Coach Message

I am a Certified Executive Coach from the Hudson Institute, with an MA in Career Management; and as such I work with smart leaders throughout the Life Cycle of their careers (including pre-retirement). By developing compelling narratives from accomplishments and transferrable skills, clients create opportunities that feed their passion and purpose. Through conversation, I help clients ask smarter questions of themselves enabling them to make positive strategic career transitions for the right reasons. My methodology is grounded on the principle that Age is an Asset, which along with Wisdom and Maturity can be leveraged to create a competitive advantage in today's marketplace.

Whipped me into shape

VP Programmatic, Gimbal

John sat me down as I was in b-school at Berkeley and whipped me into shape. John told me for the first time that my narrative needs to say that I (i) made money, (ii) saved money or (iii) saved time -- anything else was nonsense. John's mellow demeanor belies the veracity of his feedback. Sit down with him and have him fire five questions about yourself at you to see what I mean, and I think you'll be better for the experience.

I trust him implicitly

Director of Sustainable Finance

I have consulted John for advice numerous times over the many years I've known him. He has always been an excellent sounding board with insightful advice and questions. He is a also a pleasure to work with and always keen to suggest connections. I trust him implicitly and respect his opinion tremendously. I'm sad to see him leave Haas but am sure of his continued success as he offers his valuable service to a wider market.

World class listener

Manager at KPMG Advisory

John is a world class listener who draws from years of career management experience to help his clients. He has deep industry knowledge across a breadth of fields that includes not only the quantitative requirements companies seek, but also the personal elements.

Insightful and direct
