Liz Bentley is an Executive Coach who focuses on leadership and organizational development, motivational speaking and one-on-one coaching. Drawing upon her background in psychology, 10 years of experience in sales and management, and a lifetime of experience in competitive sports, Liz has a unique appreciation of mindset and the power it has to change patterns of behavior.
Liz works with high-level corporate executives and entrepreneurs within organizations and corporations of all sizes across a range of industries. She helps companies with their leadership development by providing team skill building workshops, management training, communication skills, mentoring programs, and 360º feedback reviews.
Liz's business focuses on three areas: corporate training, motivational speaking, and one-on-one coaching. She has presented on a wide range of topics that are critical to companies in today’s economic environment. She's also had success in her one-on-one coaching, notably for transitioning executives into management positions, for grooming employees with potential, and for anyone who’s struggling to leverage his/her strengths and achieve personal and/or company goals.
Representative clients include PricewaterhouseCoopers, Wells Fargo, IBM, Newsday, Sotheby’s International Realty, KORG-World Leader of Musical Instruments, Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory and Farmingdale State College. She works with companies across the country and internationally.

Liz received her coach training from the New York University Certificate in Organizational and Executive Coaching program, and the David Rock Results Coaching System. She received her BA in Psychology from the University of Virginia.
Prior to coaching, Liz worked in advertising sales in publishing and television. She held the position of Ad Director at Conde Nast Publications, a leading worldwide magazine publishing company, where she headed the sales department of Wired Magazine. At Wired, she managed offices in North America and was responsible for sales and marketing results. Before being promoted to Ad Director, Liz was one of the top sales people, and managed Sales Development and Special Advertising Sections. Prior to Wired, Liz was at CBS Network as an Account Service Representative in advertising sales where she assisted in selling all day parts: Prime Time, News, Late Night, and Day Time.
Liz has been a competitive athlete her whole life. She played Division I Soccer and Lacrosse at the University of Virginia. She taught skiing at Aspen Highlands in Aspen Colorado, has run the NYC Marathon twice, and currently plays competitive platform tennis, tennis and ice hockey. Liz lives with her husband and 3 children in Cold Spring Harbor, New York.
